In this course we were supposed to design a furniture that was built of a linear structure. The main material should be round or flat steel. Other materials can be combined, but the main character should be the line.

I created a sidetable that could be used as a small work desk or as a helper for reading. On the top of the furniture, a linear light is integrated to illuminate the surface of the table. On the end of the plastic plate you can put your pencils in a semicircular depression. 

The table is just clipped in the metal tube to guarantee an easy replacement. So the design of the table top can be chosen by the customer.
