For the foyer of the „Orangerie d‘Or“ in Graz we had to design a furniture that is primarily formed out of a volume. It should include some functions but the main focus was on the sculptural appearance. 

My furniture is located in the center of the square floor. Due to its curved volume and the tension of thickness and thinness gives the furniture a sculptural look. On first sight the interaction with guests is limited because of the immaterial surface of the furniture (white artificial stone). But on the second sight the people are invited to join the object due to its circle shaped openings and extended arms. The height of the furniture is split into three levels to offer seatings, a table and a bar.
