In our course „basics in creation“ we had the task to design a private swimming pool in a self chosen location. With the help of the program 3DS Max and its renderer mental ray we now should do the three dimensional visualisation of our project. First I created the 3D model in skecthup and exported it to 3DS Max to put on the different materials. The main challenge was to achieve a realistic look of the chosen surfaces. After rendering we made use of the program photoshop to place our building in the right landscape.
