the fictioanl design agency provides a large space for creative people from all design areas of communication, architecture, product design and interior design. main idea was to get a connection of all these parts of design to offer integrated concepts for their customers.
The achieve this goal I had to guarantee a fluent communication between the stuff. This concept is the guiding idea of my space allocation plan. Conversation and togetherness is the basis. In the center of the floor plan I offer a lot of different spots to get into connection with the others. This open space is always frequented of the stuff. So you can‘t miss anyone. The conversation and confrontation gets increased. Furthermore you have different offerings of meeting points: high level desks for short meetings and presentations, big suites for chilled sitting or small pouffes for unconventional seating. The heart of the office is a big round table at the end of the building. Here is the place where all the ideas start. The whole stuff find a place to do brainstorm together or compare notes. A bell-shaped cover emphasises this spot and provides smooth light on the table‘s surface. The material library behind can be used during the conversations.
Along the outer walls you can find the actual working stations of the stuff. They are all arranged similiar. They offer space for 2 or 4 employees who can work at one desk. Furthermore you can find different areas for relaxing and switching off or even for concentrate working within the building.
The entry and the foyer of the agency are seperaated from the stuff‘s working area. That is the place where the customers are welcomed and brought to one of the meeting rooms. On the one hand you have the big, light flooded and bright meeting room and on the other hand the private and small room for discreet conversations.
Above the foyer the cafeteria is located. The ceiling is half opened to achieve a visual connection between the cafeteria and the archive. Thereby you get a more spacious interior. The cafeteria is also seperated from the working area to allow the stuff to switch off from their wirk during their break. Even here you can different ways of how to spend your lunch time. Above the archive is situated. At the end of its corridor you find the office for project controlling and accounting. A wide window allows transparency and offers a visual integration with the whole stuff.
